The problem
Since online shopping has become more popular, footfall in local shops has fallen and many have struggled to survive.
Carpets Direct are an in-store only shop but they still needed to harness digital marketing to be able to attract more customer to their stores.
What we did
Our strategy helped them hit £498k in sales despite storms and lack of footfall without having to sell online.
Website Optimisation
We optimised their website to encourage more people to come in store and to help with organic discovery on Google. We also added tracking to make sure we can monitor behaviour and specifically target people who would convert to sales.
Local SEO
We optimised their Google maps listing to make sure they had a big logo and appeared at the top of the searches for relevant keywords. This is so that we can attract more people likely to pop in for a visit.
Social Media
We implemented a social media strategy to target specifically home owners local to Bristol and gain a high level of reach. First we started with a content plan using research to find out what home owners in Bristol want to know about flooring, we filmed and edited all content and then posted strategically.
Google Ads
We set up Google ads to make sure that they would get results as soon as they signed up to our services. We closely monitored which keywords were generating the best results and implemented them into our SEO and social media strategy.
